Originally from West Virginia, London is a local Ph.D. student whose research focuses on first-generation and low-income college students in Appalachia. Her commitment to the region not only led to her academic pursuits but also a focus on affordable housing and educating home buyers as they make what might be one of the largest purchases of their lives!

Not only does London believe in the power of education, but she also focuses on giving back to her community. Her service-oriented mindset has led her to join numerous organizations, including Homes for Youth, Softer Streets, Hope & Humanity Housing, and more. In her personal life, London enjoys spending time with her two cats, Obi-Wan and Whiskey, designing homes, and relaxing on the water.
