Dillon first got into Real Estate during a 2018 internship with Chapel Hill property management company Mills Rentals. A summer of Greg Pinneo CDs, spreadsheets, and hands-on experience built an invaluable foundation of knowledge.
After graduating Carleton College in 2020 with a BA in computer science, Dillon moved back to the Triangle area and got to work flipping a house in the midst of a pandemic. His partnership with Jacob Zurbuch, a triangle area GC and lifelong friend, couldn't have gone better. After a year of work, they had a much improved property back on the market, and a smooth sale in less than a month!
The experience taught Dillon a lot about the process of home buying and selling, and what a great agent looks like (thank you, Sharon Clarke!). Dillon's general knowledge of the field and desire to work for himself led him back to real estate in 2025 when he signed up for Judi's pre-licensing course at AB Tech and shortly after joined Grateful Mindset Properties.
When not working as an agent, Dillon runs the web agency Spring Creek Web Design, coaches Carleton College's Ultimate team (the 2025 D1 champions), and spends time in Hot Springs on his grandfather's small farm.
